We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of Django 6.0 Release Candidate 1 (RC1). This significant milestone offers the final opportunity for developers and contributors to thoroughly test and explore the advancements in Django before its official stable release.

The Release Candidate stage initiates a string freeze and a crucial call for translators to submit their contributions, ensuring comprehensive localization for users worldwide.

Barring the discovery of major bugs that cannot be resolved within the next two weeks, the official Django 6.0 release is anticipated on or around December 3. Any potential delays will be communicated promptly on the Django forum.

We strongly encourage the community to utilize this period to actively help identify and report any bugs. Please submit all bug reports to the issue tracker.

You can download your copy of the Django 6.0 RC1 package from our downloads page or directly via PyPI.
